Meles plan estimator
Tell us what you need, and the estimator finds the cheapest plan that covers it.
What counts as a reached user
A reached user is a person who is shown at least one Meles survey or message in a calendar month (UTC), or who gets one through an AI agent. Each person counts once a month, however many campaigns they see.
Counted, once a month
- A signed-in user, identified by your user ID, who sees a survey or message
- An anonymous visitor who sees one, once they've agreed to a stored ID
- A visitor who signs in later the same month: counted once, after the two are joined
- Someone who answers a survey through an AI agent
Not counted
- Visitors who load the script but aren't shown anything
- Your team's previews and test mode
- Bots we detect
Still being finalised: how anonymous visitors count in cookieless mode, where no ID is stored. We'll say how it works here before cookieless mode ships.
Reached users, worked through
- Active users aren't reached users
- Your app has 20,000 monthly active users. This month you show an NPS survey to the 3,000 who have used it for 90 days. You've reached 3,000 people, so Starter covers it.
- One person counts once
- Someone sees a banner on Monday, a survey on Wednesday and an announcement on Friday. That's one reached user for the month, not three.
- Loading the script isn't reaching anyone
- The Meles script loads for 40,000 visitors, but your only campaign is a banner on your pricing page, and 2,500 people see it. You've reached 2,500.
- A busy month doesn't change your plan
- Your quarterly NPS survey goes to all 60,000 active users, so that month you reach 60,000. On Growth that's 4 extra packs, and $179 for the month. In the months between, if you reach 25,000 people or fewer, you pay the plan's price alone.
Going over your plan
- We'll email you when you reach 80% of your plan's reached users, and again at 100%.
- On Growth, each extra 10,000 reached users is $20 that month. Up to 95,000 reached users a month, Growth with extra packs costs less than Scale, or up to 85,000 on yearly billing. Past that, Scale does, and the estimator picks it for you. Packs never stop, and we'll tell you when Scale would cost less.
- On Free, once you've reached 1,000 people, Meles stops showing campaigns to anyone new until the next month, or until you upgrade. People you've already reached keep seeing them.
- Other paid plans reach new people to the end of the next month. Nothing is ever dropped silently.
